About Children's Art Project
A cancer diagnosis is life-changing, especially for children. At MD Anderson, young patients find therapeutic value in creating art during their cancer journey.
The Children’s Art Project enables young cancer patients to share their artistic talents and others to support patient programs by purchasing artwork-inspired merchandise. Sales of such merchandise fund pediatric programs.
Through creative classes, both in-person and virtual, pediatric cancer patients at MD Anderson find stress relief and distraction from treatment. Since 1973, the Children’s Art Project has engaged thousands of young patients and generated millions in funding for patient programs. Patient artwork has adorned various merchandise, from holiday cards to accessories, yielding vital support.
Children's Art Project merchandise is available at partner retail stores, MD Anderson Volunteer Services Gift Shops and online.
